I've decided that I will try to update at least once every other day on what has been going on. Just a short paragraph on what I did today because my in detail blogs are becoming close to impossible.
Highlights from this week:
Thinking I saw Ian Mckellan and Tim Burton
Sitting next to Michael J Fox in Starbucks
I got my tickets for Galileo
Went to Casino Night here at the dorm (I won the movie Jarhead and a pair of movie tickets)
Had the group meeting which was very eventful and full of drama as per usual
Had a break through with my Group at Adler
Found out I have gained 6 pounds.
Dinner with Mom, Gan Gan, and Dylan in little italy
Walk through the Feast of San Juanero wiht Dylan in Little Italy
Losing my student ID, then finding it
Losing my cell phone, then having someone find it.
Seeing Mom
Seeing Curtains with David Hyde Pierce
ANTM kickoff party with the girls
Movie night with the girls + Dylan
Watching Gossip Girl with the girls
Ok so that's basically the extra stuff from this week. I actually have a lot to do this weekend in the little time that is left. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up my cell phone. Hopefully I'll stop by and see Bernadette Peters and Christine Ebersole at the Broadway Cares event.
Tonight I went to dinner with Gan Gan and mom and said goodbye to them. It was raining really really really hard. Ummmm lets see. I actually have a lot of homework to do. But besides that I watched Fight Club and the Zefferelli Romeo and Juliet two nights ago and now I'm like all creativly pumped.
I started a new book today. It's the history of the stilleto. It's fanscinating.
Things I want to see (broadway, off or off-off):
Cyrano de Bergerac starring Kevin Kline and Jennifer Garner
I really really wanted to see Ian Mckellan in King Lear (sold out within ten mins in like January)
The Seagull
Richard III - at CSC which is like down the street
Stoppard's Rock 'n' Roll
Cymbeline which starts at the Lincoln Center in like a month
I also want to see a Metropolitan Opera and NYC Ballet before I leave for the year.

My RA could kick your RA's butt!
Okay I offically have the coolest RA in exsistence.
But in other news. I went to bed this morning around six and woke up around 10:30. I went to a rather nice brunch at Palladium (part of our meal plan, score!) and I had a chocolate waffle, some potatoes, bacon, eggs, honeydew, cantelope, yougurt parfait, half an eclair, rasberry lemonade, and this cool banana thing where they fry bananas in a creme de banane and with butter and brown sugar and this pour it over vanilla ice cream. Yum.
We meandered a bit and I had my one-on-one with Tina. Only Jewlie and Susan had their one on ones at the same time. It was fun. I got to play with Tina's bunny Charlie who is really funny and cute. He wouldn't let me hold him but I did get him to smell my hand voluntairily.
Then we all went to Ricky's and got hair dye. I got a dark wine color. It's a semi permanent. It was a like six hour event. Cutting Patricia's hair. Dying mine then having to redye it. Giving Fabi two different coloured highlights. Bleaching all of Jewlie's hair then giving her tips. Cutting Susan hair. Cutting and highlighting Tina's friends hair. Dying Kelly's hair then highlighting it. Tina is freaking awesome let me say. We really wanted to cut Sarah's hair but I don't think she was in the mood. We def will later! We have some awesome ideas!
Before and afters:
At night I went to eat Thai with Dylan and came back preparing to go to yoga. But Tina said she was going to do yoga here (she is certified in yoga and I think pilates too). So Dylan and I and all the gals just kinda hung out and watched the emmy's. Dylan left around 9:30 and then Fabi, Susan Jewlie and I did some cardio and power yoga.
I have to type one more thing tonight. A scene from a past memory of mine and read a few thigns but I def had a fun time today. Probably a little excessive and I probably should have buckled down more but I'm 18 and I'm in New york city and I have wine colored hair and it's awesome. So I'm young and restless. Big whoop.

Sorry for the lack in posts
I've been really busy. Still trying to understand what this time managment thing everyone keeps speaking of is. This was my fist real week of school. My schedule was normal and I did everything in full.
Theatre wise, they have already started breaking us down. Or me at least. My calf muscles are so sore and and my thighs burn everytime I move. I took the subway to and from class more than I should have this week. But I think I'm still just getting used to things. Like the fact that in the mornings the N train on the orange line does not stop at 28th street, it stops at 34th forcing you to have to run back to 27th to get to your class. Things like that.
Like night I went to the Harold Clurman Festival for the Arts. It's its second year. Last night was a discussion between these six or seven really big theatre/movie people. It was on different political and social problems of the time. It was pretty interesting. I did have a problem staying awake though. It was really hot in the room. I got to meet Wally Shawn. Whom I love. He is a really genius actor, comedian, playwright and he was at the discussion. As was Edward Albee, who it is probably arguable that he is the greatest living playwright in the world right now. Ellen Adler (Stella's daughter and mother of Tom who is the head of the studio) introduced everybody so it was cool that she was there.
Afterwards I saw Jason Little (Head of Student Affairs/Dean), do a one man version of Tale of Two Cities. It was set in modern day and Jason played a drag queen who was at his house getting ready for a show when a baby is put on his doorstep. In order to get the baby to stop crying he starts telling him this story. It was really good actually. I thought I wouldn't like it during the first 15 mins but it got really good. And there was also a scene where Jason's character took a bath to get ready for the show. Let's just say I saw some intimate parts of my dean that I wasn't prepared to see ever, let alone in the first week.
I was going to go see a movement piece that my ballet/movment teacher Steve directed but intsead I just slept in. I went to bed around three this morning and decided I would just wake up naturally. Apperantly 5 p.m. is natural to my body. Oh well. I needed the sleep.
Tomorrow my RA Tina is giving everyone hair makeovers. I'm contemplating getting eggplant highlights. I've always wanted to do a dark purple in my hair. I think it would look pretty.
I don't know if I mentioned it but Tina asked me to be president of the floor. Meaning, I have to organize different programs for the floor. I have two so far. I have the fact that each week we will watch America's Next Top Model together and then I made a chart where you can put like your fav model or who you think will be voted off next and other stuff. I also am planning a girly movie night. Where we watch movies that had an impact on our childhood. Secret Garden, Aladdin, Madaline things like that.
Tonight I'm going to try and get through Three Sisters, which is the scene for my scene study class I doing. I also have to read everyone else's plays. So maybe I'll read another one tonight. And hopefully get started on my paper for my Theatre Studies class. It's due Wednesday so I have some time and I also feel prepared about it.
So that's it for me. I'll try to write a little diddy on what I do each day so I don't get behind again. But frankly I can't remember what I've done.
